Welcome to Meat-Free Monday – an exciting cross-curricular global citizenship project for schools!
School communities pledge to go meat-free on Monday at lunchtime and are provided with free cross-curricular lesson plans as well as a Meat-Free Monday calculator, which adds and displays the environmental benefit to going vegetarian for one day a week.
The project helps children and young people better understand how the choices they make today will affect them (and future generations) tomorrow. Use the links to the left to get started!
